JOIN US
Be a volunteer/collaborator of the Silvestre MARIRI Sanctuary.
We dream together to bring harmony among all beings to the world.
Program Requirements
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older at the time of joining the project and preferably have some experience working with wild animals. You need to have an open mind and flexible attitude to work in a new and different environment. The volunteer must bring energy and enthusiasm to make a difference. Participants must be prepared to work outdoors and get their hands dirty. Program participants must have a keen interest and love for wildlife conservation work.
Volunteer Roles and Responsibilities

Daily care of animals in the sanctuary

Cutting fruit, preparing diets, feeding the animals

Helping newcomers adjust to the centre
-
General maintenance and cleaning
-
Construction work; repairing and building new enclosures

Helping the vet and carers when needed
if you are:

Animal lover and you would like to help take care of them;

Understanding the enormous responsibility of working with wild animals;

Always be open to learning new skills;
-
Prepared to dive into the hard work and get your hands dirty.
